Reserve with Google: how to add a booking button for your restaurant or tour
Reserve with Google lets guests book a table, tour or class without leaving Google Search or Maps. Google does not take the booking itself: you turn it on from the Bookings tab of your Business Profile by picking a supported booking provider, and Google says the provider appears on your profile within a week.
Key takeaways
- You need a verified Business Profile and an account with one of Google's partner booking providers.
- Google's partner page listed 436 providers on 19 October 2026, OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms, TheFork and Bookeo among them.
- Google charges nothing to show the button, but your provider might, so ask about its fees for Google bookings.
- No partner provider? You can still add your own booking or reservation link to the profile.
- Tours and attractions go through Google's Things to do program, with free listings through a connectivity partner.

What does Reserve with Google do for a restaurant or tour?
A guest who finds you on Search or Maps picks a time, books and, where you ask for it, pays with Google Pay, all without opening your website. The booking still lands in the system you already run, so there is no second diary to keep. Google's Maps help says it works only in certain countries, and only through scheduling providers Google supports. A complete listing also helps you rank higher on Google Maps, and that is where the booking button sits.
How do you set up Reserve with Google?
1. Verify your Business Profile
The Bookings tab is part of your Google Business Profile, so claim and verify it first. Our free Google Business Profile audit shows what the listing is missing.1
2. Check that your booking system is a partner
Look for your table, tour or class system on Google's partner page. If it is there, ask it how to switch on Google bookings and what it charges for them.4
3. Open Bookings and choose Get started
On your Business Profile, select Bookings, then Get started, pick your provider and select Done. Google says the provider appears on your profile within a week.1
4. Add a waitlist if you run a restaurant
Restaurants can also show a Join waitlist button, set up from the Waitlists tab with a partner provider. To remove the button later, unregister it with that provider, not with Google.1
5. No partner? Add your own booking link
Under Booking on Search, or Edit profile on Maps, select Add link and paste your booking page. You can add up to 10 links for each action and mark one as Business preferred, though Google shows no performance data for your own links.2
6. Remove links you did not add
Google's partners can put their own booking or ordering links on your profile. If one sends guests to a site you don't use, remove it from the same links settings.2
7. Tours and attractions: use Things to do
Tour operators and activity providers reach Google through Things to do. Google asks them to connect through their booking software's connectivity partner, which lists their tours for free; ads are optional and charged per click.5
8. Spell out your cancellation policy
Google applies the business's own cancellation policy to every booking made through it and shows that policy at checkout. Write it in your booking system before the button goes live.3

From PlacePilot's data · Reserve with Google providers we counted
Google's Reserve with Google partner page named 436 different booking providers when we read it on 19 October 2026. Bookeo, a booking system for tours and activities, is one of them.
We counted the provider names listed under "View availability and make bookings directly with" on google.com/maps/reserve/partners, removing two names listed twice. The page does not say which countries each provider covers, so check that your provider works where you are.
