GoDaddy Website Builder plans (2026): what a restaurant or café pays

GoDaddy Website Builder, now sold as Airo AI Builder, has a Free plan and three paid ones: Starter at $9.99 a month billed annually, Professional at $24.99 and Ultimate at $99.99, or $19.99, $49.99 and $199.99 paid monthly. Publishing starts at Starter, and a restaurant that takes deposits or appointments online needs Professional.

Key takeaways

  • We read GoDaddy's four Airo AI Builder plans, Free, Starter, Professional and Ultimate, on its US website builder page on 30 October 2026.
  • The annual price is half the monthly one on every paid plan, and only the annual plan cards list a free custom domain.
  • Every plan runs on AI credits: 50 a month on Free, 150 on Starter, 300 on Professional and 750 on Ultimate, and unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
  • Online payments and deposits, appointment bookings and the Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram connectors start at Professional, the plan GoDaddy recommends for local businesses.

What does GoDaddy Airo cost beyond the plan?

The price after year one

GoDaddy says an annual plan comes with an extra discount on your first year. Its pricing page does not say what the plan renews at, so read the renewal line in the cart before you pay for a year.1

More AI credits

Building and changing the site with AI spends credits, and GoDaddy's pricing FAQ says they expire at the end of each billing cycle without rolling over. Run out and you either buy more credits or wait for the next cycle. Editing text and images by hand spends none.1

The domain on monthly billing

The plan cards list a free custom domain only when you pay annually. Switch the page to monthly and that line disappears from Starter, Professional and Ultimate, so a month-to-month owner should expect to buy the domain on its own.1

Airo's branding

Removing the Airo branding sits under Coming soon on Professional and Ultimate. No plan lists it as included today.1

Keeping it current

Airo writes the first draft from your prompt. Typing in the whole menu and posting holiday hours stay with you on every plan. To get the menu right once, our free menu maker lays it out as a clean page you can link from any site.

Who is GoDaddy Airo for?

Airo suits an owner whose domain and email already live at GoDaddy and who is happy to describe a site in a prompt and then edit what comes back: a café putting up its first site, or a guide who takes payment by link. For a local business the plan to look at is Professional, since it adds deposits, appointment bookings and a connector for your Google Business Profile. Before you rebuild, run the site you have through the free website grader to see what it is missing.
