Lovable pricing (2026): what a business website costs in credits

Lovable has a free plan, Pro at $25 a month and Business at $50 a month, each paid plan with 100 monthly credits, plus Enterprise on custom pricing. Every message that builds or changes your site spends credits. A small business that wants its website on its own domain without the Lovable badge needs Pro.

Key takeaways

  • We read Lovable's plans on its pricing page on 2 November 2026, on the monthly view.
  • Pro and Business both come with 100 monthly credits, but Lovable's docs value a Pro credit at $0.25 and a Business credit at $0.50.
  • The free plan gives 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, and publishes on a lovable.app address.
  • Custom domains and removing the Lovable badge start at Pro.
  • Lovable charges by credits, not seats, so inviting your team costs nothing extra but shares one balance.

What does Lovable cost beyond the plan?

Credits for every change

Each building message spends credits, and the cost depends on how complex the task is. Lovable's own examples run from 0.50 credits to make a button gray to 1.70 credits for a landing page with generated images. Every plan also gets 5 build credits a day that expire at the end of the day; once they are gone, rewording the menu, adding a seasonal page or fixing what the AI got wrong comes out of your 100 monthly credits.1

Top-ups when the balance runs out

On Pro and Business you can buy more credits once or set automatic top-ups with a monthly limit. Top-ups are billed apart from the subscription and last 12 months. Credits are not refundable.2

Credits that expire

Unused monthly credits roll over, but only until 2 months after they were issued on a monthly plan. The daily build credits expire at the end of each day and never roll over.2

Hosting once the site gets busy

Lovable says running a small or new app is usually covered by the hosting grant that comes with the plan. A site that gets significant traffic or grows large starts drawing on your credit balance.1

Business credits cost more

Business costs twice as much as Pro for the same 100 credits. Lovable's docs set the Business credit rate at $0.50 against $0.25 on Pro, and say Business adds team and governance features rather than cheaper usage.2

Who is Lovable for?

Lovable suits someone who wants to build something custom by describing it, and who is happy to keep prompting until it is right: a booking flow nobody else offers, a members area, an internal tool. For a restaurant, café or tour company that needs a fast site with its menu, hours, photos and a way to book, the credits go on work a template already covers. Moving an old site over? The free website grader lists what the current one does well, so you can describe those parts to Lovable or carry them over anywhere else.

How does Lovable compare with PlacePilot?

Pick PlacePilot if

  • You would rather start from the hours, photos and reviews already on your Google Business Profile than from a prompt.
  • You want your site checked every week and the fixes ready, without spending your evenings in a chat. Here is how that works for tours.

Pick Lovable if

  • You want to build a custom web app, not only a website, by chatting.
  • You or someone on your team enjoys prompting changes and checking the result.
  • You want unlimited people in one workspace for $25 a month and can share 100 credits between them.
