Can AI write social media posts for a small business?

Yes, if you give it the facts and read the post before you publish it. AI is quick at turning a few lines about your news, an offer or an event into posts shaped for each place: a caption with a clear first line for Instagram, a short post for Facebook, and a plain update for Google with no phone number in the text. What it can't know is what's true at your business, so give it real dates and prices, check every detail, and change any words that don't sound like you.

Is the AI social media post generator free?

Yes, and you don't need an account. You can write posts 3 times a day.

Does it post for me?

No. It never posts anything. Copy each post and paste it into Instagram, Facebook or your Google Business Profile yourself.

Is what I type saved?

PlacePilot does not save your business name, notes or posts. Your words go to Experiential to write the posts. We keep only usage counts.

Will it make up prices or dates?

It shouldn't. The posts may only use what you type, and a post with a price, a day or an offer that isn't in your words is sent back to be rewritten or left out. Read each one before you publish it all the same.

Why is there no phone number in the Google post?

Google may remove a post with contact details it can't verify, like phone numbers, emails and social handles. Pick the Call button when you post it: it uses your verified number.

Can a hotel post an offer on Google?

No. Google takes no offer posts from hotels, and no posts about deals or discounts. The tool writes a hotel's Google post as an update or an event, and leaves it out when the post is about a deal.

Does it add hashtags or say it was written by AI?

Up to three specific hashtags on Instagram and two on Facebook, and none on Google. It never adds tags like #AI or a line saying how the post was written.
